JANUARY 2010 CHINCOTEAGUE WHITEOUT
Chincoteague Island is under a whiteout - one that it has not experienced this much snow in over a decade! In most areas there is 9 inches with drifts even deeper. Really beautiful! Once again, Mother Nature has given us another "show" of the beauty that she is capable of producing.
Due to the fact that I am without a 4 wheel drive because of a pile up on Route 175 that I was involved in, I am not able to get out in the snow and take photos of all the beauty. BUT, coming to our rescue again with their trusty camera are the Koski's (as in Capt. Charlie and First Mate, Colleen)! I believe Charlie is the photographer and Colleen is doing some modelling - shovelling snow! You guys are thinking "that's pretty smart of Charlie", BUT, the unknown story is Charlie was involved in another accident - as in industrial - and hurt his back, stitches in his noggin, so on. Sooooo, Colleen being the "Good Wife" is shovelling. But, then again, these guys have PA roots. Hardest working people in the whole USA. I know this for fact, many of my crew are from PA.
Enjoy the photos - courtesy of the Koski's!
